Here's a thing - re. Magnetos (E and AG)

After weeks of messing about with no luck, I call my magneto rebuilder guy (Mainely Magnetos in Maine 207-834-7309) find out that AGs and Es have counter clockwise magnetos!!
So #1 is still top right on the cap, but then the plug wires go in counter clockwise after that. All other models are clockwise.
So being an HG an OC3 educated Oliver guy I have been wiring up my EHG68 wrong...no wonder I get the odd loud splutter and nothing more. I have had mine wired up 1-3-4-2!!
