I just got an AGH (Thanks Bob!), and need to figure out the best way to convert it from 6v pos. ground to 12v neg. ground. I'd prefer to keep the original generator and convert it to 12v if possible. Ideas/suggestions?

Also, I'd like some suggestions on mounting a hydraulic pump to power a blade assembly. Are there any special adapter pulley's for the crank, or is it more of a custom job?

You could couple a pump to the shaft coming out of the water pump. I think it would be stought enough to hold up. Otherwise use a love-joy type coupler on the crank puley, and go straigh out the front. Doing it this way you would end up not haveing the crank start backup tho...

I can't help you with the generator. They do start good on 6 volt.

The generator can be rewound for 12 volt. Or you can find a 12 volt generator that might be pretty close to the same mounting. I know there are also 12 alternators that are built to look like generators. But like Bob said. If your 6 volt gen and battery are in good shape they start pretty good anyway.
