Dave--if you don't get an answer here you might want to give Landis a call--I'm sure he can tell you.

I have had the engine out of my oc46 twice. It has a ware loader on it. I raise the loader 1/3 way up and block it up. I use an over head chain hoist with no problem getting to any of the mount bolts. My cherry picker won't go high enough to go over the loader so over head is the way to go.

I took my engine out this week. I have the bucket off and raised then boom up over my head with a chain hoist. make sure you work the lever when raising the boom. I just used vise-grips to keep the boom handle locked in the raised position. The only problem I had was broken bolts in the bell housing wouldn't allow the engine to lift up. Other than that I swung the engine right out, Its a little tricky with a cherry picker because of the tracks.
I took the head off and the pistons are stamped .060 so my block my be trash. I'm new at this and just bought it a month ago.

Jeremy,
you wrote: pistons are stamped .060 so my block my be trash

Why?  Nothing wrong other than that?  Find alternative pistons, sleeve the block.  No problem at all.  Just a bit extra money, but 'better the devil you know than the devil you don't ' is what they say.

First of aI  I am with RAB on this one. I would gut the engine block, cam bearings and all. Then I would check to see about get it oven cleaned and then inspect it. Then get back with us. Also for parts get a minimum of two seperate prices.  John
