Are they Military plugs, don't understand what you mean by "industrial" spark plugs?

yea i guess you could say that there the military style, they have the screw on wires that have the tip going inside of the spark plug.

The common spark plugs in use today are 14 thread size.  Plugs with 18mm threads were common in the sixties and before and are still available.  On old engines you can find some 7/8 nf thread plugs.  These are quite large and not easy to find but Champion still made them a few years ago.  The numbers on them changed quite a bit over the years.  I have some I will get the numbers from but that will take a week as they are at another location.

I've had best luck with Autolite plugs. I'll have to look and see what number, but they work quite well. Haven't had any foul yet compared to the new champion plugs. Can't be of any help on the military style plug wire combo...

The originals were Champion Commercials: 1 COMM, 2 COMM, or 3 COMM, each with a progressively higher heat range. They don't call them that, but they are still available from different manufacturers. These are 7/8" plugs.

Would you happen to have Manufactures and Part numbers for these? I will need a set of 7/8 for my HG someday...someday.

I believe Champion W-18 replaces Champion 1-COMM http://www.ebay.com/itm/Champion-W18-7-8-Spark-Plug-/270552130901

You should be able to get them from a local NAPA or other auto parts store.

Are they waterproof plugs like airplanes and some military vehicles have?
