PTO oil tube

Can someone tell me length of the oil tube in a PTO? Also what does the end look like? Online I have seen everything ??? Mine has this notch in it. It might not even belong there.

I think they have a flat end. I have two OC4 models here that look OK - that pipe sticks out 1 3/8th beyond the housing. I am sure its the same on OC3s.
