hello all,

I have a oc-46 and the tracks are not both facing the same direction. in other words if looking down at the top of the tracks one side the grousers are at the front of each pad and on the other the grouser is at the back of the pad. will having the tracks like this cause problems? witch way is correct?

thank you for your time,

kenny

The grouser should be to the front, otherwise the mud and dirt won't clean out when the track bends. I'm not sure if there is a proper direction for loader tracks with 3 bars.
My gramps Howard van Driest was Experimental Engineer at Cletrac and Oliver Corporation. After the plant closed, he and my uncle started an excavating business, initially using Cletrac and Oliver Crawler tractors. So these grousers/tracks all are on backwards?

FWD is to the left in the attached picture or look at my new profile picture.
