I am bringing home a pretty complete 55, however I do need a fuel tank and air cleaner oil cup. Also a shifter lever would be good as well.  I know these parts may be difficult to find, but even patterns so I can get some made would be great. Anyone know where to find a serial number on these machines?

Thanks,

Zimmerman has some 55 parts. He has an advertisement in the classifieds of this website. He also has a complete 55 so maybe you could use some measurements from his tractor.

Good luck!

It seems to me that a lot of the fuel tanks are the same on the Cletrac tractors,  on that note I'm certainly no authority on these models but a model 25 fuel tank is for sale in we-pay right now. The price is a little steep at $250.00 but where else are you going to find one with "brass peacock & cap"?

A 55 is kind of it's own... Be almost the same as a 40. Both are kinda rare these days... The gas tank could be easily reproduced if need be. I think the shifter would be as well. I have a 55 that has hope or I'd sell you parts!
