oc-3 final drive

found some fine metal in the final drive of the oc3 . I want to break the drive down and remove the cover and make sure everything is ok.So far it seems it may have came from the outside carrier bushing . So far I have the track off and outside carrier bearing off, sprocket lugs off, but now I have a stubborn sprocket that won't come off. When I finally remove the sprocket what will be my next steps. I don,t have any manual to go by. Thanks in advance
