The inner bearing is fairly sloppy but the outer one the roller pins all fell out. I saved all the pieces just in case I HAD to reuse them. The inner race, if they're not a pressed fit, seem to be alright the bearings slide on and off with just a little resistance.

In an attempt to tighten up my drive sprockets on my OC3 I've discovered the bearings were shot, they're stamped Bowers 369 s and 368 a are these numbers good? The reason I ask is that they slid right off the spindle I was under the impression that they were press fit.  Thanx for any reply.....Thom

I've been using my OC3 to harvest wild cherry from my mothers place, been real picky which trees I select as I'm using the lumber for trim in my home. The machine works very well and gets in and out of tight spots rather well without disturbing other growth. As you can see my OC3 is in rather disrepair however it stands up to the abuse I've put it through. I do have plans to restore it but I just have to many tasks for it right now. Sorry for the size of the photo but it's the only one I had of it skidding a log..

NOTE: Picture has been replaced due to size. See below.

Ron here is a picture of my water pump. The markings on the block says IXB5 is this not the motor for this machine?
Thanks Thom.

I have an Oliver model #OC3-42-IND I'm not sure how much of it is original it seems to have been modified extensively.
It resembles the picture submitted by pvcarey. My question is whats the sprocket on the end of the water pump shaft used for? Thanks for any help you can provide.       Thom.
