I was only at the show for a couple of hours on saturday, Unfortunately i had to work most of the weekend.
I did see Bob on the FDE,(The Hercules diesel on Bobs FDE sounds awsome) didn't really get to talk to him though.  For the couple of hours i was there i spent it running the BD.

Check out the web site, nationalpike.com. We are taking our BD and our Gravely 8123. Can't wait to see the FDE in action .

Just wanted to say, we hauled our BD home with a dodge 2500 2 wheel drive pickup and a 10,000 lb. trailer. Really didn't have any trouble.

Hey i rebuilt a 1956 willys m38a1 about 6 years ago. I would love to see pics of your jeep Hotratz.
I am in the process of rebuilding a 1978 international loadstar 1850 now. My wife doesn' say to much, she usually just wants to know how much this project will cost.

QuoteI think I know where that came from

Thanks for everything Bob. We really enjoyed the nickle tour. I wanted to post some pictures of us hauling the tracks home on my sons toyota but by the time we got home i just wanted to get them off of his truck.
The ride home was a little scary to say the least. I wasn't even thinking about taking a picture.

I just posted a couple of links to some videos of me pushing some dirt with the BD this past Saturday. The blade is not painted yet but I couldn't wait any longer to try it out :D .
The links are in the video section on this site.

Finally got the blade on the 47 BD. got everything repaired and painted except the blade. We couldn't wait any longer so we stuck the blade on just to try it <img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_biggrin.gif" alt=":D" title="Very Happy" /> .

Quoteoh and what color is that it looks sharp. i think id like to paint mine that.

The paint is from tractor supply . It is a mixture of Kubota orange and red oxide primer mixed 2 to 1. Also has hardener in it.
The pictures make it look more orange than it really is.

I purchased the piston from Zimmermans. They are listed in the advertisment and classifieds on this site.
