Haha  I need something that does a lil better pushing dirt. Most olivers you find here are a HG/OC. You do find the bigger ones, but they are scrap or a million dollars it seems.   Theres a ton of cat d2's running around yet,

I did email  guy on craigslist on a OC4 last nite tho. Manual angle blade, new rollers - tracks are about 50% tho

I didnt get to plow but 30 feet of snowbank on my machine this year. It didnt run till last sunday.

It was having magneto problems, so I bought another one for it- which worked worse - LOL

I got a spare motor witha  good mag. Ended up getting it running long enough to sell it ! :o  Looks like I'm outta the oliver biz for awhile.  I might buy another one that needs a clutch, a OC6 , Or something more real like a caterpillar.

Wonder if your hydraulic pump is going away.

No it wont affect balance unless the pistons were all different weights.

I know these things are for field work. Both my hg's are basically toys at best. Id just like to play in the dirt a little bit better is all.
I have 15 or so other tractors that I can use also.  My ford 641 will do lots more work then the lil hg will on its best day.

Heres the other hg

I have no idea what year it is

I did get it running again.  Never did figure out why it just died like it did when I was trying to load it on the trailer. I guess its scared of trailers like the other HG is. Still took about a hour of messing with it to start and run. This one runs pretty good once its started, Seems to have a good amount of power, But the gearing sucks.......

Maybe this winter I'll cut up a bellhousing and stick my ford trans to it for some more gears

I went to take pics of my other hg today, but I forgot the camera....

I tried to get it running again but no dice. Swapped the new plug wires off my other hg and it still doesnt do anything. Has spark and gas.  Could use a new cap for the magneto Should run ....

I'll have to screw with it later I guess

I went and fixed the starter. Real good one might say. It cost $500 for a used reman or rebuild. Works pretty well and doesnt get hot.

Its also in the form of another HG42 tho....     This one runs really well, but is hard starting.  I still have yet to go get it and bring it home to play with it.
