Hi can anyone tell me what needs to be done to pull the shaft out that operates the clutch. I have a oil leak in the end plates and want to pull them have machined for o rings or seals on thr inside. It looks like the side with the clutch pedal is keyed and pressed on??

Walter i think i may be quite dumb with this question. I have a OC3 industral i have drove it a few times and it don't have any brakes. No pedal nothing what am i missing :?: . This made me wonder when i first drove it but thought can;t go fast enough to hurt and thing any way if idled down and in gear?

I will tell you about what a friend of mine purchased. HE got a cleatrac W that had electric start on it the PO had found a flywheel ring that fit the standard fly wheel and pressed it on. made a bracket to mount the starter down under and to the front i think it was on the right side. It appeared to be a GM starter was 12 volt worked quite nice also would really spin the little 4 banger. I have not tryed this but think it would be easy to do just get ring and starter with matching tooth combination. Then press or weld it on.

Most have a plate on the fire wall on the right hand sid from drives seat engine side. If not there post some photos and some will know what it is. you won;t find a site with more information on cletracs or more friendly people.

Mike i am no expert by no means. i would say that you moved the rotor ahead or back when serviceing the mag. If it is OHV pull the cover and watch when that cyl comes up to fire and sit the timeing that way

mtncrawler would you explain that a little futher. Low compression on one cyl can affect others.????????:(

If you have a good spark on bench and none on motor. I would set it on mount put in one bolt and try. It is possible i guess that some thing is makeing a short. I would say stop and think if you have at know how to mount and time you can figure this out. Just takes some thought. Good luck;)

Did you have all the posts grounded when you were checking the spark. IF not you could have shorted the mag. Now i am not a mag. person but that is what i was told. Never turn a mag unless it can discharge the spark to plugs or ground.

CPMICK put it in the lowest gear you have and close to a large large tree or stone. Then with the pedal depressed try and start it to hit the object in front of you. It may be enough to break it loose. Be sure to keep that pedal depressed. IF It don't break loose it should stall. If it starts in gear and you don't have any thing to push again try puting down the bladea little at a time. If it stalls put in reverse and start it again to get bak to where you can work on it. my $.02
