Up for sale is my early Oliver OC-4 Crawler with Dozer Blade. I've owned this machine for about 15 years and probably havent put 30 hours on it. I no longer have use for it since I now have grandbabies I'd rather play with. The Good: Strong motor, doesn't use or leak oil...The Bad: Transmission needs new gears and bearings, tracks need replaced. Idlers appear to be in good shape, but yet needs to be verified. I have a complete set of tracks, track frames, idlers, final drives and good sprockets I'll include in this sell. I'll take $1000.00 for all. I'm located in Central Arkansas. Give me your email address and I'll email you some pictures. Call 501-351-1163

Thanks for looking!

After careful consideration, I have decided to let my OC-4 crawler dozer go to the right person. I would prefer to sell it to someone who appreciates the Oliver/Cletrac machines and who intends to fix it up. Thanks for the help received on this discussion and I'll soon be posting it for sale in the classifieds section.
Thanks, Roy

Does anyone know the Clark model number of the 4 speed transmission in my early OC-4? I might be able to find this transmission on some of the other brand machines mentioned in the previous replies.
Thanks, Roy

Thanks for the replies! I'm located in Central Arkansas. This is a 4 cylinder machine with 4 forward speeds plus reverse. I can't tell you much about the differential steering other than it steers with the levers only (no steering brake pedals like an old Cat dozer I've operated). It has 2 steering bands, which puts friction on 2 drums on the differential. This may be the older model OC-4, since it has the rounded front grill. The gas tank is under the seat. I'll post pictures.

Thanks again! Maybe I'll get lucky with these parts.

I took my machine apart and removed the transmission due to the lack of reverse. When I got into it, I realized this thing is worn completely out! It must of been ran with lack of lubrication for a good while. Most of the gears and the bearings are worn beyond being usable. I tried Zimmermans and they have the parts alright. I just can't justify spending 1000.00 or more on this machine. Any ideas would be much appreciated! Otherwise, I may have no other option than to part the machine out.
Thanks, Roy

Hello All. As a person who is 50ish years old, I'm not new to Cletracs. My uncle had one for years and he would let me drive his HG-68 when I was a young boy. Long after he passed away, I was given the old machine. It had been sitting under a shed since the mid 70's. Long story short, I was able to get it running without too much trouble and it now resides here with me at my residence. For a while, I owned a BD Diesel Dozer. I have since aquired an OC-4 with the dozer blade. Looking forward to meeting fellow Cletrac/Oliver crawler tractor owners in here. Take care, Roy Sanders
