I need to do the transmision berrings, so I figured I'd tear it all apart and fix 60 years of abuse, cracks, booger welds and okie rig mods...

also I think the morse magneto isn't stock from what I've read, probably why the frame was buchered there.

Thanks, I ordered a  manual for it, and will document the work I do when I get started. I'm sure it won't be anything new to you guys though.

Hello folks, I just picked up an HG, not sure on the year, or if the plate on the hood is the original one, but I figured I'd join and learn as I fix her up and get a little fun (and work ) out of her

That is sweet! I was going to paint mine OD, but You really raised the bar and gave me some ideas .

I just picked mine up last friday, it's an HG42, I'll post some pics and introduce myself properly when I get a chance...
