Try your local radiator repair, the local radiator shop in my area was able to get a core built by their supplier. This was for a 1948 BGSH with a six cylinder Hercules. The core alone was very expensive. But to my way of thinking the Cletrac isn't much good without it.

440, This is a sugestion for the overhead truss, make it an arch and that should allow a taller vehicle capacity.

In the Model BGS specifications the Power Drive Specifications states that there is a:
1) Power pulley and it's operating speed is 1150 RPM with belt speed of 3550 feet per minute.

2) Power Reduction:
     A) Industrial with shaft diameter of 1-3/4 inches & 650 RPM
     B) Agricultural with shaft diameter of 1-3/8 inches & 660 RPM

3) Power Take-Off with shaft diameter of 1-3/8 inches & 1150 RPM

The specifications come from a reprint manual I bought from Zimmermans. Oliver Instruction manual for Model BGS Crawler Tractor Serial Nos. 6cooo UP fourth edition September 1951.

Also the parts book shows that the Aqgricultural unit has chain drive for the final and the Industrial appears to have gear drive for the final. And also the sliding gear for engaging to the PTO Pinion on transmision is the same part no. for all the units

Blake, I have been using an outside wood boiler since 1992 and am very happy with it. I usually put wood in it twice a day and the amount that I fire with depends on the outside air temp. I heat a 24x32 garage and also a 40x32 house, and our hot water also. The make is a Heeatmor Stainless steel made in Warroad, MN. (Lake of The Woods).[/url]www.heatmor.com is their web page. You will find trade shows and home shows that they will have dealers at this spring. The first one developed a leak right at the end of the warranty and they offered a stainless upgrade for about $1500. The upgrade came with a ten year warranty and that was in 1997. This past summer(2007)  I recieved a card from them that extends the warranty to a lifetime warranty which I thought was very good. This stainless model has not had any issues for the past ten years. I burn any kind of wood, Oak, Birch, Pine, Balsam, Fresh, or dried and even blown down and dead wood. As I said I am very happy with their type of boiler system. Gerald

Cracks are from the #2 to #3 cyl past the exhaust valve of the #2 and through the water port that is between them. Also #4 and #5 cyl have a similar crack. Also there is a crack between the #3 and #4 at the narrowest point and through a water passage. I removed a welch plug on the left side near the starter and the block was full of mud at that point. Is there any JXD engines or blocks available.

What are the options for a BGSH with a JXD 6 cylinder with several cracks in the block. Engine swap or repair
