Here are some picutres of my latest crawler, itÃ,´s a Cletrac F narrow gauge with serial no 306. ItÃ,´s in rather good condition only lacking the original air cleaner. Have to fix a radiator issue before making a starting attempt. I love this little critter. Yes, it has travelled across the pond.

My gramps Howard van Driest was Experimental Engineer at Cletrac and Oliver Corporation. After the plant closed, he and my uncle started an excavating business, initially using Cletrac and Oliver Crawler tractors. Nice tractor. What kind of plow is that in the background in the second pic? Looks interesting.

Thanks for all kind words.
Bob, you have sharp eyes. That is a plough belonging to a pair of Fowler steam plough engines.

Nice, it would be interesting to see it all together and plowing.

Nice clean unit.
I have # 1494 running and # 1499 as parts here in New Zealand.
What is the serial # of this model.

Our unit sat in a playgornd for 35 years and then took 18 yrs before we got it to run on 4 cycls.

Will follow your progress with interest

regards
Wayne

Wayne, my Cletrac F has serial #306.
I have had a lot of crawlers coming home in a short period of time now, Cletrac F, Fordson Trackson, Fordson County Full Tracks, Calfdozer, IH T20 and a David Brown 50ITD. For the moment IÃ,´m in the phase of collecting the crawlers I find interesting. Progress with getting them in order will be slow.
Please visit my website for more photos of my crawlers, //http://www.mydozers.com
