B model voltage

I have a 1937 Bmodel and need to know the voltage of the system before I try to start it. Can you help?

As built if it is a gas tractor it is 6 volt. Generator on later  model B tractors is driven from the timing gears. Have not looked on one that old. All model B diesel tractors were 12 volt.

The early model's generators were timing gear driven also. I've seen many that were converted to 12 volt alternators, mounted in a conventional way.
