Hello, Kevin here from New York State...  Hudson Valley Area.  OC-4 is my new vice and addiction  I bought it knowing the engine did not run... and no starter or generator.  I was a little shocked at the price for the replacement parts for those 2 items.  Any suggestions.  And, I would really like to find a PTO and a 3 Point hitch for it.

3 cylinder or 4? There is a really nice article in the forum on installing a new alternator on a Cletrac. It's a rather small alternator that is about the size of the original generator.
My gramps Howard van Driest was Experimental Engineer at Cletrac and Oliver Corporation. After the plant closed, he and my uncle started an excavating business, initially using Cletrac and Oliver Crawler tractors. 3 Cylinder...  is there a substitution "part" for the starter...  it sure doesnt look unique...

You'll have to find the part number to the starter. A lot of times starters are used on many different applications.
