HG - OC3 auxilliary transmission

The Antique Steam and Gas Engine Museum in Vista, CA just recieved an OC3 with an auxilliary transmission.  This one uses a Chevy trans judging by the bow tie cast into the side.  It looks like a pretty neat job, with the unit mounted at a slight angle to allow room for the shift lever, and a chain-type coupler joining it to the original transmission.  I've got additional photos, if anyone is interested contact me at mailto:studeacres@msn.com">studeacres@msn.com and I'll send them along.

From what i can see even the bellhouse is
changed
Did they used the hercules engine or is it
changed to another make??

It is a Hercules engine.  The bell housing is fabricated  and welded, similar to the one shown in the HPOC magazine article.

I would like to add a reduction transmission to to my HG.
I have a Ford Model A trans mission for this purpose.
I have the HPOCA article and John Demarais' information about how he made his bell housing.
I was thinking of cuting off the flange of the A's bell housing and welding on one using the dimentions given in the HPOCA artical.
I hoping that this will elimnate having to set up the clutch linkage and mounting flange for the trans.
Does anyone out there know where I could get a copy of the Trasco literature for the original reduction set up?
How about a copy of the Oliver Corp.'s service bulliton number CL-501, from 1-13-56?
Does anyone out there have a Trasco bell housing availible for sale?
