Propellershaft

In my instruction manual it sayÃ,´s to remove propellershaft

Remove the cotter pins and loosen the
set screw and slide the universal joint
on the shaft so it will disengage from
transmission shaft

But it wont work there will not be enough
space to get it from the shaft
do i have to remove the engine forward??

its the original proppeller shaft on it
Does anyone had the same problem

Just had my propeller shaft out, I was able to drive the rear universal joint out of the yoke.  Then I was able to take propeller shaft out.  This was on a HG-42, it worked for me, give it a try, might work for you.--Ron
