Need help finding out what year my cletrac is

I have a Clatrac HG and i am wondering if any one can help me figure out what year it was built i guessing 1942 but im not sure.

Do you have a serial number plate? If not look in the aera of the engine block close by the mag and you find a date when the block was cast. Add some time to that date as castings were left to "age" before they were machined.

there is a plate on the engine and all i can make out is IXK3 and it is a hercules engine if that helps
