I might have a chance to buy an HG-31. I was wondering how common they are? Do they carry the same value that an HG-42? I have a 51 OC-3- 42 and this is a 51 HG. Any information would be appreciated.

I have a 1950 HG-31 with a loader and have only seen one other and it had a sidewalk plow on it. My guess is that the must be somewhat rare, especially here in the east.

I think they are rather rare. Probably worth more than an HG-42 in the same shape.

My gramps Howard van Driest was Experimental Engineer at Cletrac and Oliver Corporation. After the plant closed, he and my uncle started an excavating business, initially using Cletrac and Oliver Crawler tractors. Is this the one in Londonderry, NH? It too has a blade - Anderson, over the hood frame type.
