[Folks, I am posting this for an HG owner who can not post on the forums. Please contact him directly - don't reply to me]

Hello,

My name is dave austin, am a member of this forum, and live in Frisco, TX.

The reason for my message to you allis to make contact with other Cletrac owners in this state, close by to me.

I am the owner of a 1950 OLIVER model HG-42.

I am looking for LOCAL owners with tractors like mine. I am also looking for parts.

Can you help me? Do have a Oliver HG or OC3? Do you live close by ?

please dont contact me back thru this site. Even though I am registered user, I am having troubles, once logged on, to veiw the forums and cant seem to receive private messages.

if you would, please send me an email to:
mailto:wc57doggieboy@yahoo.com">wc57doggieboy@yahoo.com

or call me directly @ 214-762-1356

thanks! Dave
My gramps Howard van Driest was Experimental Engineer at Cletrac and Oliver Corporation. After the plant closed, he and my uncle started an excavating business, initially using Cletrac and Oliver Crawler tractors. Hi Dave , Well looks like you have your posting problems sorted out  :). As an Aussie we always get told ,Things are bigger in texas , so maybe  HGs and OC3s were to small  to be allowed in to texas  ;D. Ian .
