I was messing with my dozer the other day and for the first time I wanted to see what each gear was like. 1rst and 2nd was fine. Then when I put it in 3rd it bogged the engine down and then once it got going the rpm's went back up and drove fine. But when I went to put it in 4th all it would do is bog the motor out. I tried from both dead stop and a rolling start. Either way the motor would die out. Would that be the clutch or what do you think would be the problem?

if you are stalling the engine it will not be the clutch . you might try a good tune up.

Oh, so you figure it could be something as simple as that? I'll give it a try. Thanks. :)

be sure to check your gov. linkage adjustment ,ign. timing, and carb. during your tune up.
