HG 31 forethoughts

Currently I am getting redeployed.  I am looking for a project when I get back home from this second tour.  My wife said that I'll be allowed to spend a little cash when I get back, (you know how they are) lol as a reward/treat.  So I'm looking for an HG 31.  My dad actually still works on our family farm and has a fettish for Allis Chalmers tractors.  I have never really had an interest in them for some reason I've always had an eye or different routes.  But basically I just wanted an interesting project to work on with my free time.  So when I get back if you guys could help me find what I'm looking for I'd appreciate it.   Thanks again

It would help to know what part of the country you are from. I do know of an HG-31 that is just sitting there and hasn't moved for a few years, but that would be in New Hampshire.How far away is that from you?

I live in south central PA.  I would be interested, but it would have to be after my tour.  Also whats the condition and how much is it if you would know that info id appreciate it.  Thanks again

Let me start by saying "thank you for your service".
How long is your tour?
 I am not sure that it is for sale. When I stopped to look at it the guy said that it belonged to a friend . He was unsure but he thought that his friend might sell it. It wont be right away but I will get some pics of it and I can e-mail them to you.At the same time I can get phone #. From what I remember it is in pretty good condition! The one thing that I do remember is the rivets in the tracks are getting tired. It does have an Anderson dozer blade, the one piston over the hood style.How long is your tour?

Is that anywhere near Hamburgh? My kids went to high school in Hamburgh! I know the area quite well!

Well its for 400 days after these first initial 25 which I am currently in South Carolina.    So next year around spring time is about the time that I will be home and probably settled in decently enough to come get it.  I live in the Chambersburg PA area.  I'm going back over to Iraq for the second time so I guess there wont be too many surprises.  Any way just shoot me an email.  Thats my military email account and I should be able to access it anywhere there is a military installation.  You might have to be a little patient on my response though because it could be a while before I can access the internet.   Thanks again by the way.
