OC3 dozer - Is it what I need?

Hi,
Been lurking for a while now, and I have a question. I'm sure it's been asked before, but here goes...
I've been looking real hard for a while now at getting an OC-3 with a blade for light landscaping and pushing snow. Mostly because the price is right and i do love old equipment...but I need it to work.
I know that the OC-3 is a high-speed ag tractor, never meant to push anything. Would I be wasting my time getting one for this application? It it too fast? Too underpowered? Too light?
My next choice would probably be a D2, pretty sure it would do the work, but it's a bit pricier for a good one.
I have my eye on one that has a recent replacement engine from Zimmerman, but needs a new rad at some point (top tank leak?)

Dad had one; I'm on my second one. Used for landscape work for 20 years, dug 2 house basements in extremely heavy ground; used mine to snow plow our 600 ft drivewary for several years (until brother-in-law sprung for a fwd), now use mine just to push the banks back when he gets bunged.

The key is light work, and taking your time.

Those basements took us upwards of 40 hours each. The next one in the same ground took 4 hours with a Cat 215 excavator.

The OC3 will work well for pushing loose material . They will also dig hard ground with a small cut. I have one with Anderson blade that I have used for 12 years  for their weight they will do a lot.
