towing an HG-42 for an extended period of time

Hello all!
  I hope I don't "lose" you all with this off the wall question, LOL!

   Ok the short version of the question is :will I cause damage to my HG-42 differential/transmission/other assorted running gear by TOWING it around--a lot-- like day end and day out--preferably backwards?

    OK,OK LOL!! Now for the reason!--and ,no I'm not a victim of too much holiday cheer(happy mother's day!)
   
 I am looking for way to haul and dump fill dirt across some property I own that has a pretty high water table.It will support my wheel tractor(IH 784) but I'm afraid that after numerous trips it will begin to "punch thru" and progress will stop.

  I have two hg-42 cletracs. The "black"one I hope to get running and driving soon. The other(orange) I am thinking of pulling the engine out for a rebuild.
     I'm thinking about using the tracks and frame of the orange machine as a platform for a small dump trailer pulled behind the black tractor. Less weight spread over more square feet= better floatation/less rutting and holes.The idea is to fab a small flat bed with dump capability on top of the frame for this project ,then remove it and re-install the engine when it's back from the rebuilder.I just don't want to damage the "orange" cletracs running gear in the process since it is very restorable.

   Yep, slow and tedious as hell but we are not talking a four lane freeway here---just basically a foot path/4 wheeler width for a couple hundred feet project so 'Mama' can go for nature walks with the pooch without getting their feet (as)wet.

  And we all know the importance of keeping "mama" happy.

Well I am no expert, so others here will give a more informed opinion. You will be in neutral, so I guess so long as the gear stick doesn't start wagging about and grinding gears you should be OK whether engine powered or being towed. I don't see there's much difference.
Alternatively, you could get a contractor to dump the dirt in one pile or drift, get a blade or loader on your black one and push it up the path instead of dumping it behind you. You might hint at Mama to buy you the Ware 3-WI loader you really need - Father's Day coming an'all
