water pump

Hi Everyone,  My waterpump is dripping antifreeze. Does anyone know if replacements are availiable or can they be rebuilt?  HOPE I CAN GET A RESPONSE! THANKS OZZY

Replacements are available.  If NAPA can't help you call Landis Zimmerman, 717-738-2573.
The pumps can be rebuilt but the bearings and shaft are an assembly.
You should be able to replace the seal if the shaft and bearings are OK. The shaft has to be pressed out of the pump impeller.

I did one not too long ago. There are several different styles of seals. If your bearing and shaft assembly is good you should get by for less than $40.00 if you do it locally. There are at least two styles of seals used and you don't know which one you need untill you take it apart. Gaskets can be made and are also available fromAGCO as are the seals. I can come up with most of the part numbers. The one little gasket is NLA but it is no big deal to make one.

Zimmerman has rebuild kits but you will need a press to rebuild it. No other way to get shaft in and out.
