HG Frame cracked.

I recently purchased a HG (I haven't seen it yet).  A friend picked it up for me and said that the frame has been welded.  What can I do to fix this?  Any help appreciated.  Tom

if it was welded proper it will be ok, unless its going to be for show. if it was not welded good, all the old weld needs to be removed (grind ) and v'ed then welded dont just put more weld over it. If your not real good take it to a welding shop.
