I am looking at a OC-3 but it has problems, like the drive sprocket (right side) bolts threads were stripped out, retapped bigger, and stripped out again. Can't go bigger again. Solutions??  Thanks.  Jim
Oh, where can I find specs on the OC-3?

Jim, The bolts are mounted in the ringgear and hub ass. You have to take the track loose and off, and disasemble the final drive to get at them. I believe you can press the old studs out and press new ones in. Hope fully the ringgear and hub are ok. When I did mine I had to buy a new hub. And the price made me squeal. But what you going to do? I bought an OC3 In struction manual from Zimmermans, Theres lots of good information about the whole tractor in this manual. The price was about 24.00 to my door, I thought it was well worht it. OZZY

Many years ago I had to change the drive hub on an OC 4. It was cast iron and the bolt holes were stripped out and some had broken out the side of the hub. The price made me squeal back then so took it to a local machine shop and had one made in steel for less!

If I remember right, the sprockets on that OC 4 had tapered holes with split tapered washers.  If you go to an oversize bolt they will not fit throu the tapered washers.  A lot of heavy duty trucks use the same set up on the axle drive flanges and you may find larger split taper washers at a truck parts supplier.
