Hello Everybody, I've been seeing the terible images on tv over here of the hurricane that has hit America.  I hope all you guys and your families are ok ( and your Cletracs).  The damage caused looks devastating. All the best, Sam
I live in England, got interested in Cletrac's when I brought an Oliver BD in 2001, I now have an Oliver BD a Cletrac BDH and another BDH for parts and have just brought a 1919 model H. I also have a british built Track Marshall 90.  Always keen to hear from fellow collectors.

Thanks Sam. We appreciate your concern.

I don't know if anyone on this forum is from that area, but if they are they probably can't answer anyway.

Personally, the remnants of the hurricane went right over us, but only brought some much-needed heavy rain and nothing more.

I think I can speak for all of us on the forum that our hearts go out to all those who lost loved ones or their homes in the massive devistation from hurricane Katrina. May God Bless them all and help with rapid restoration and recovery of the area.

Blake
My gramps Howard van Driest was Experimental Engineer at Cletrac and Oliver Corporation. After the plant closed, he and my uncle started an excavating business, initially using Cletrac and Oliver Crawler tractors.
