I have completed my step by step illustrated instruction write-up for the auxiliary trans project.

I will be happy to email a copy to anyone who wants it.

As of now, it is 22 pages of text and photos in the format of MS Word 97. If you can receive and print Word text, you can use it.

I am in the process of finding out how to convert the MS Word text to PDF format so it can be read by Adobe Acrobat.  I'll let you all know as soon as I accomplish it.

Also, when the PDF is done, I think it can be posted to this board.

Dick,
I converted the manual to a PDF for you and sent it back - it is beautifully crafted document, great illustrations and photos.  Well worth reviewing.

John,
Please send the PDF through again. My server jammed up the first time around. I'm on slow dial-up.

Also, any advice on how to do the Word-to-PDF conversion would be great.

Thanks,
Dick

I have added Dick's wonderful auxiliary transmission manual to the Auxiliary Transmission page of the site. You can also download it here: http://cletrac.org/media/aux_trans/HG_Aux_trans.PDF

I apologize for taking so long to get this up.
