Your OC12 2JX186 was made in 1955 with a diesel engine. The gas engine version had 1JR serial numbers so the engine has been changed.  The gas engines that were used had a bore of 4" and stroke of 4.5" for 339 cu in. In Nebraska test no. 548 it pulled 54.64 belt horespower and 39.98 drawbar horsepower.  Other engines may fit as well, Hercules usuallay had a data plate on them with model and bore and stroke.
