Can anyone tell me what continental engine was in this machine??? We have one missing engine, and know it was a continental but do not know model. We need engine!

Hello, Are you sure it was a Continental? I also own one & it came with a Hercules model DJXC, 298 c.i. inline six diesel., Jim.

I am sure there was a continental 6 cyl gas engine in it, but from what I am gathering from this website info is that there was originally a diesel, probably the Hercules you mentioned. We would love to restore this to original, so hopefully someone may have such an engine?

All model B crawlers had a Hercules engine. It can be gas or diesel. Check your serial number and we can tell you if it was built as a gas or diesel. The only Cletrac with a factory Continentals was the Model AG-6. Sure you don't have an AG-6?

Hey cip this one might be of some use to you. On E-bay there is a what I believe is a model BD crawler with a winch. It is located in Bethlehem CT, further than I care to go for one. There are around 4 days left,Jim.
