Cletrac Photo - B-36, P-47

Google and Life have teamed up to post an archive of photos from Life Magazine.  I was mucking about and came up with this nice color photo from WWII of a M2 HST & P-47:


There's also a good photo of a B-36 in the Convair factory with two M2s hooked up to the main gear getting ready to haul it out of the factory.



I thought they were worth sharing,

Among the photos is this one showing an M2 with boom rigged to salvage parts from some wrecked P-51s:

Note:  Several photos are repeated throughout the gallery, so it's tough to tell when you reach the end and start to recycle.  The comparison photos from 1945/2010 are also interesting.

those are really old aircraft.

i don't think they are still working today.

I think it would be better to put them on museum

for viewing purposes.
