I need to replace the rubber cooling hoses on my M2 and in order to get the size of hose I need I have to buy it in three foot lengths so I will have more than I require. I intend to make as many M2 cooling hose sets as I can, keeping a spare set for myself there should be another four or five sets.

Would anyone be interested in complete rubber cooling hose sets?.

I am also getting the metal sections reproduced and sourcing the correct hose clips.

Have any progress on getting the metal bits for the cooling system made?

Hi Matt,

Not really,I have now been loaned originals of the metal parts I didn't have, just need to get the funds together to get some made. Had a slight setback with my MG project when the "rebuilt" waterpump came back with the casting broken.

I will post an update as soon as I have something to report.

Regards,
Matt.

What part of your pump is broken I have a few cores that also have misc broken ears and casting bits - maybe we can mix and match something to get you going - a few pictures would be good...

Also did you find an interchange number for the mechanical seals (carbon / ceramic rotating seals) or did your unit have the packing nuts with a compressable packing for a seal?
