Oc3

Hello guys I am new here and in the market for a oc3 with a loader. I went and looked at one today it seemed pretty strait needs new u joints and the drive sprockets are shot so I imagine it needs more it runs like a top and has a ware loader on it. I offered 1300.00 and the guy stated he needed 1500.00 am I out of my mind for passing on it or should I jump on it? I don't mind doing work because I am very mechanically inclined but I don't want to totally screw my self or pass on it then find out it was a pretty good deal.

I will guarantee it will need more. Everytime I bought one of those and thought it ran & needed a "few" things, it ended up needing most everything. Those machines are 60 years old and most were really abused. It could be a worthwhile project, but just expect a lot of work and $$. Which Ware loader does it have,, 3HI or 3 WI? I never thought much of the 3HI loaders, but I guess some people might like them.

It's a 3 hi the bucket is mint surprisingly I figured that was junk.
