Hi,
The leaf springs on my E-38 are no longer serviceable, all the leafs are rusted thin and at least a couple of them are broken. I have a few sets of old Chevy truck springs that are the same width but somewhat thicker, I'm in the process of re-arching them into a set of E-38 replacement springs, I hope it all works out.
I got the Idea by watching a couple of "Re-Arching leaf spring" videos on you tube and I bought new center bolts on E bay. I used a Hossfeld bender to increase the arch on the springs, it seems to work well for this.
Here are a few progress pictures....

Good job Johnny! Keep us posted. I bet there are a lot of tractors out there that need their springs replaced.

Thanks Blake,
I'm sure there are other E-38's out there that have the same problem, the springs are pretty thin and the "slipper tabs" rub on cast steel spring stops.
I finished the springs up late yesterday afternoon, here's a few pics....
