Awhile back I received this email from Russ Morgan in Loveland, Colorado:

"Blake, Thank you for sponsering your forum.  I would post to it but feel so unknowledgable I did not want to anger your die hard readers.  I specialize in World War 2 Military Studebaker weasels www.m29cweasel.org and have come across an OC 4 crawler. I am seeking production numbers and how many are available for parts and accessories. I saw only two mentions of the OC 4 on your forum.Ã,

Would I be out of line to ask your readers if any OC 4 are for sale and how much they cost? I would appreciate any coaching as I spread out from military crawlers into Civilian crawlers butÃ, I'm in need of direction. The hunt is always part of the fun and this OC 4 has peaked my interest.

Here is a scan of a Weasel and I have parts for the Cletrac M2 High Speed aircraft tug if you have guys restoring those. Thanks for any info and ideas about posting to your forum. Thanks Russ Morgan in Loveland Colorado."

My gramps Howard van Driest was Experimental Engineer at Cletrac and Oliver Corporation. After the plant closed, he and my uncle started an excavating business, initially using Cletrac and Oliver Crawler tractors.
