The posts on this site are few and far between - seems like everyone is on the Cletrac Oliver "public" Facebook group. You don't have to have a Facebook account to view the posts but you won't be able to reply or post unless you do have an account. The posts are frequent, interesting and typically have very nice photos. Check it out.

I just check back to this account every now and then, but, for the most part, everything has gone to Facebook. It's just easier for me. Most of those applying to be members on this forum are spammers, which take up lots of time to weed through. I've kept this group open in case something happens to Facebook and we can no longer use it.
My gramps Howard van Driest was Experimental Engineer at Cletrac and Oliver Corporation. After the plant closed, he and my uncle started an excavating business, initially using Cletrac and Oliver Crawler tractors. Blake,
I appreciate that you keep this forum up.  It has a lot of great information in it and I hope
somehow it can be captured for future use.   We need the younger generation to be able
to research these great machines and be able to fix 'em.

Thanks again!

Not being on fb at all I'm loving that.

Thanks Blake
