I'm completly respraying my Oliver Cletrac BD and can't decide what to do about the tracks, does anybody know weather they were painted when new and if they were were they the same colour as the body?
I live in England, got interested in Cletrac's when I brought an Oliver BD in 2001, I now have an Oliver BD a Cletrac BDH and another BDH for parts and have just brought a 1919 model H. I also have a british built Track Marshall 90.  Always keen to hear from fellow collectors.

I drop the tracks when we sand blast then I sand blast the tracks lightly and paint them flat black.  I did not do this on the OC-18

In the end I painted them the same colour as the rest of the tractor on the inside and left the outside bare and it looks great.  Sam
