there are two oil lines coming out of the engine just behind the generator...which line goes to which connection on the oil filter canister...bottom or top side??

Here is a picture of 3 cyl gas hecules, OC-46. hope it helps, Dusty

Dusty...Mine looks different...two oil fittings on the block are side by side ..1"  apart..no indication of which should go where!!??

sorry, I cant help you then, I know I have a number of access points located on the block, there are three in that area. must be a change, this is about a 1960 model. Now if I could figure out how this pic link works. lol http://curiouswebs.com/myoliver/images/ ... p_1_lg.jpg
