Assembled the new brake bands today and found that the linning probably is to thin!!! Had to adjust the brakeadjuster to the bottom before getting a grip (retainer spring did not even fit).

Does anyone know how thick the linning is supposed to be?

Crawler boy I donÃ,´t even know how it looks like because of a protectionplate.

I think I have mounted the right band cam on the left side and vice versa! I should have looked in the instruction manual first...

IÃ,´ll give it an new try tonight.

I took some measures of a NOS brake band and of the one i have had relined, the old was 10mm thick and the relined 7mm (all measures includes the metal band).
Here it is!

I removed Tom's picture here as it was way over 100 kb. Please keep pictures under 600 pixels wide.

I have removed the picture in this post as it was way over 200 kb. Please keep pictures under 600 pixels wide. These oversized pictures take up way too much file space and do not fit on pages well anyway.

OK Blake weÃ,´ll keep that in mind! We donÃ,´t want this board to go down because of to many big photos.

Anyway I got everything straightend up yesterday and found the brakes to be OK but not perfect. I did though find out that the fueltank was punktured around the mountingbracket and three out of four bolts holding the frame to the gearbox was loose! With the skidplate on this was no problem but without you could feel the steeringlever shaking alarmingly.
