That seal is mostly unique to the Olivers... they aren't cheap. I did a lot of searching on those seals, it seems there are a few truck applications, but that really doesn't help much as far as the price.

50 miles an hour isn't too fast on the road, but it's a hell of a speed in the ditch.

If you have the number off the old seal,, you can go to a place that sells bearings and they can get it for you. The one arond here in western Pa is Applied Industrial,  or applied.com. They used to be called Bearings Inc., but I guess that name made too much sense. Another Co is Motion Industries, there are many bearing / seal suppliers out there. You might also try NAPA or a "real" auto parts store, not autozone etc. Most any parts store can get stuff like national seal or C/R from the warehouse that supplies them. You can also try Zimmerman, I'm sure he has them too. The price will probably scare you, I think that seal is in the $50 range last I heard.

Ok I found a seal. The price wasn't too crazy, about 35 bucks after shipping and taxes. They couldn't get a match on the bearing number.

Hi Dave. I have a pretty decent second-hand one, if you want to send the missus in to my gallery again to pick it up!
Free of charge, but you might want to go for new from Zimmerman's??
Not sure if NAPA can get something like that? You could take the old one and show them?

I think the one I have will survive the winter. The race and bearing are still in good shape. What I am wondering now is whether I should just use silicone insta gasket or make a new paper one.
