I have a OC3 loader with valve Model-v1dd44c or last character may be a g, can't tell.  Does anybody have a breakdown illustration of the 2 spools they could post?  Serial # of valve is JD22179.

What loader is it? Ware 3-WI, Ware 3-HI etc. ?? My scanner is down but I can mail you the breakdown if I know which model you have. The Ware parts books are like old blue-prints.

I do not have the loader here so I can't look at the tag.  Mine looks identical to Dan Carlson's OC-3 with loader in the Cletrac Photo Album on this site.

OK, that's a Ware Model 3-WI. Nice loader.
Send me a PM or email (see icons lower left on each post) with your address and I will send you some photocopies.
Best wishes, Chris

I have finally scanned those two Ware 3WI valve block diagrams from the Ware Parts Manual if anyone else needs it. Sorry it took so long. The usual annoying software updates that render perfectly good hardware obsolete - unlike Cletracs!
I had to revive an old computer and connect it to the scanner in a quiet corner.
I will send the scans to Blake. Maybe he can put them in the OC3 section.

Just to add some detail for future owners:
One Ware 3WI loader manual I have states: Serial numbers 1801 and up.
Regular Control Valve with 2 spools is Model VI-DD-44C.
Control Valve with 3 spools (for backhoe etc.) is Model VIDDF26C.
Seals are the same on both - part number A383X8, which cross references to Oliver part number 1612-542 [I have a Ware to Oliver Cross reference Bulletin]

What I cannot find at this time is the details on earlier model 3WI valves
I have seen two spool valves with a float position too.

Thanks for the info Chris.  I guess mine is just wore out.

Chris,

I just procured the Parts Manual for the 3WI loader, it has six different spool valves (2, 3 &4 spools) listed.

VIDDF26C (3 spool)
VIDD34C (2 spool)
VIDF39C (2 Spool)
VIDD44C (2 Spool)
6DAPDDD (4 spool) 77WI Loader
DA41 (4 Spool)

They must be for different applications i.e loader, forklift, backhoe & trencher.

I enjoyed the pages dedicated to how to convert it from a loader into a dozer by just removing the bucket and push arms.  Then mounting the push arms to the the mount under the crawler frame add your blade.  If you purchased a second set of push arms you never had to remove the upper arms.  Just remove the bucket drive into your dozer blade assembly push in a few pins and you were ready for dozing.  I always assumed those lower mounting holes were just for the backhoe.  What versatility for that era.  Now if it were only geared lower, had longer tracks and a three point hitch.  I guess thats why they needed to come up with the OC-4.

Paul, would it be possible to get a copy of those sheets? I want to put a dozer blade on my loader, thanks, Bob

Could I also have a set of those pages.  A loader is of little use to me and would rather have another dozer.

Hi Paul. Looks like your manual is Pandora's Box  ;)
That's a better manual than I have. But mine does have the loader to dozer conversion diagrams.
I too would love a copy of what you have, if possible. Or tell me where you got yours, and I'll order one.
Very happy to pay copying costs, if the former.

I sourced a copy of the manual from some guy named Zimmerman he had it on the shelf and is mailing it to me, very reasonable too.   Bob

Had similar problems with my original Ware 3WI spool valves and ended up replacing with a Prince unit from Northern Hydraulics.  No regrets, works great!
