1946 HG42 without electric starter

Hi. new member here with questions.
I recently bought an HG with serial number 20GA530. That would make it an 1946?
Looks in good original condition. But the strange thing is that I can´t see any traces of battery, starter, lights or generator.

So the question is:
Was this an additional equipment in 1946?
