What year did they put 2 three speeds in? Was this an option? We have an HG-68 and we are trying to find the year. Plate is missing. Where else can we look?? We are ultimately looking to get a manual or a wiring diagram since we are having some slight electrical problems.

Yes the second transmission was an option. Two things to check. One on each side of the engine. On the left side near the top of the block Hercules stamped the model and serial number of the engine. On the right side of the block kind of behind the mag Hercules put the casting date. Start there. Also look ar the right frame rail very closely. Before a certain date the serial number was attached to the frame rail After that it was attached to the bellhousing so look for 3 faster holes on the right side of the bell housing or four in the frame rails. What is you electrical problem? Start there.
