oc4 wont move

a guy that i bought a tractor from has an oliver oc4 with a loader on the front and a winch on the rear. i am interested inb buying this also. it is a 3cyl diesel, it runs good but will not move. you can put it in gear but it does nothing when you let out the clutch. the man said there was oil all over the place when this happened. any ideas? how hard is it to replace a clutch on this unit?

Not bad,  to change the clutch, before you jump to conclusions I would check a few things. Is this unit equipped with an auxilary transmission?

im not sure if it is or not. i guess i need to investagate further, i hoping that would be a worst case scenario. thats what he thinks it is. hes selling it pretty cheap and it runs good i just didnt want to get in over my head

if it has a reverser, or slow low aux. trans, and it is beyond repair ,you could take it out and use a drive shaft for the same tractor without that option which might be cheaper.
