i bought a oc3 amd they said that the head gasket was blowed and i ringed it and put a head gasket on it and it still pops and i think the timing gears are off but win i get the timing mark on the fly wheel in the right place one way they line up on the gears and i turn it the other way there off so if the are off what would be the eaziest way to change the timming and how do i get the cam gear off thanks

did you rework the valves and seats ?if not that could be your problem.also check the valve adjustment and ignition timing adj.the engine has three gears crank, gov., and cam.  they should have a center punch mark on each one. another item to check is the mag rotor it could be out of time. there are many posibilities for your problem. it is always best to start with the basics . get #1 tdc compression stroke then see if both valves are closed, check the rotor position . the spark mark on the flywheel may be correct or 180 degrees out because the flywheel can be installed in two positions.
       good luck, walter
