grease in rollers, ect.

The Guy I bought My HG from used grease to lube it. I figure if I just start using oil, it will thin and flush out the grease without taking everything apart. Has anybody else tried this?

Chances are that the rollers will not hold oil in once you work some of the grease out  unless you replace the seals .
